Kindly go through the steps below:

Open app and plug in lightning connector to check if device is well connected.

If app shows "disconnected" or "unsupportive", check Settings -->General --> About.

If "ADV Listen+Charge" is shown below "SEID", it is mainly software update issue. if you do not see anything under "SEID," then please let us know.
If you do, please try the steps below:

Open iPhone --> Plug in Accessport --> Open app (if app is already open, force close app first) --> Wait for 10 sec ---> Re-open app. Current firmware version is shown. Update firmware if necessary.

Keep Accessport plugged in during the whole process.

If firmware update is interrupted and stopped, kindly repeat the above steps a few times.
